Steel Single End Dilator - 0,4 cm

At 4mm, the Steel Single End Dilator is the narrowest entry point in this stainless steel range, built with the kind of smooth finish and shiny polish that makes a first sounding session as easy as possible. A single end keeps the design simple: one rod, one gauge, nothing to think about beyond insertion and depth.

For anyone who has never tried a steel sound before, this is the size to start with rather than reaching straight for something thicker. The excellent surface finish means it slides with minimal resistance once you are lubricated up, so the sensation stays about the gentle internal pressure rather than any friction fighting against you.

Pair it with a generous water-based lubricant, go slowly, and treat this diameter as the first rung before working up through the wider single-end sizes in the same collection.
