Chastity Cages
A chastity cage is a sheath that encloses the penis and locks to a ring behind the balls, so an erection and touching are impossible until the keyholder opens it. It is worn for orgasm denial, keyholder play and long-term power exchange, by men on their own or in a relationship where the partner holds the key.

How a cage is built
A cage has three parts: a base ring that sits behind the balls, the tube that holds the penis, and a lock that joins the two. ManCage cages connect ring and tube with guide pins and close with a small metal padlock or with numbered plastic tie-wrap locks. The tie-wraps do not set off metal detectors when you travel, and their number shows whether the cage was opened. Vents and a urination opening make everyday wear practical.
Cage length
ManCage makes the same idea in four cage lengths. 6.5 cm (Model 13 and Model 23) is the tight, strict option. 9 cm (Model 01, 02, 24 and 25) is where most men start. 11.5 cm (Model 03, 04, 19, 21 and 26) gives more room and is often more comfortable for longer wear. 14 cm (Model 05 and 06) suits larger men. The cage should be about the length of your penis when soft, or slightly shorter; too long and you slip out, too short and it presses.
The ring decides the comfort
Most ManCage models come with several base rings and spacers, so you can set both the ring size and the gap between ring and tube. Inner ring sizes in our range run from 32 to 45 mm. The right ring sits snugly behind the balls without digging in: you should be able to slide a finger under it. A ring that is too tight is the most common cause of discomfort; a ring that is too loose lets you pull out.
Polycarbonate, silicone or steel
Polycarbonate, used in most ManCage models, is a light, rigid and hypoallergenic plastic, often available in black or transparent. Medical grade silicone (ManCage Model 18, 19, 20 and 21), the silicone Model 23 and 24 and the ultra soft silicone Model 27 and 28 are softer and flex with the body, which many find better for long wear; the Doc Johnson CUMfort Cage is flexible silicone too. The ManCage Model 29 is soft TPE and costs €16.95. Steel is the heaviest and most secure feeling, and lives in our steel department.
Ball splitters, harnesses and e-stim
ManCage Model 18 (9 cm) and Model 19 (11.5 cm) add a silicone ball splitter that sits between the balls for a firmer hold. The XR Brands Chastity Harness for Men uses straps instead of a closed tube. The ElectroShock E-Stimulation Cockcage connects to an e-stim unit for electro play inside the cage.
Wearing it safely
Start with a few hours at home before wearing a cage overnight or for days. Shave or trim the base for comfort and hygiene. Use a little water-based lubricant to slide the cage on. Take it off at once if you feel numbness, pain, coldness or see discolouration or strong swelling, and always keep a spare key or a pair of scissors for the tie-wrap within reach. Clean the cage daily with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, and rinse under the cage in the shower.
Use a water-based lubricant to slide it on comfortably.
Frequently asked questions
What size chastity cage should I get?
Measure your penis when fully soft. Choose a cage of about that length or slightly shorter, and a ring that sits snugly behind the balls with room for one finger. Most men start with 9 or 11.5 cm.
How long can you wear a chastity cage?
Start with a few hours and build up slowly. With the right fit, daily cleaning and no pressure points, many men wear a cage for days, but stop immediately at any numbness, pain or swelling.
Can I pee with a chastity cage on?
Yes. Cages have a urination opening at the tip. Sitting down is usually easier, and rinsing the cage afterwards keeps it fresh.
Polycarbonate or silicone: which is more comfortable?
Polycarbonate is rigid and light; silicone flexes with the body and many find it more comfortable for long wear. Polycarbonate gives a stricter, more secure feeling.
Can I wear a chastity cage through airport security?
Plastic cages closed with the included plastic tie-wrap locks do not contain metal. A metal padlock or steel cage can set off the detector.
How do I clean a chastity cage?
Rinse it daily with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, reaching into the vents. Take it off regularly to clean the cage and the skin underneath, and dry both well.
