Bring water and sunscreen, and wear what you can walk in for hours. Leather and the sun are not friends; neoprene or fabric is easier on a hot day.
When is Pride season?
Most Prides in Europe run from late May to mid August: Madrid and Cologne in early July, Amsterdam in early August, and many cities in June. Order a week or two before your parade.
What do I wear to a Pride parade?
A harness or a tank top, shorts or a jockstrap, comfortable shoes and one rainbow item. Keep it light; it is usually hot.
