Realistic Dildos
A realistic dildo is shaped like a real cock, with a defined head, veins and often balls, and the better ones also copy the feel with a firm core under a softer skin. It is the classic toy for anal play when you want something that looks and feels natural, solo or with a partner, and with a suction cup it can be ridden hands free.

We stock around 210 realistic dildos from €7.95 to €207.95, with a median of about €33. Most are 16 to 25 cm long. RealRock by Shots and Doc Johnson make up most of the range, with XR Brands (including Tom of Finland), Boneyard porn star casts, Cloud 9, Curve Toys and Crushious.
Size: insertable length and width
The total length includes the base and balls, so the insertable length is shorter. For anal play, width matters much more than length. A first realistic dildo of about 15 cm insertable and 3.5 to 4 cm wide suits most men, for example the RealRock Silicone Dildo without Balls 15 cm (3.5 cm wide, €16.95) or the RealRock Dual Density Sliding Skin 15.5 cm (3.3 cm wide, €40.95). Thick models go from 5 cm upward: the RealRock Extra Thick Straight 20.3 cm is 6.6 cm wide, the Doc Johnson Bam 34 cm is 6.9 cm, and the Doc Johnson The Really Big Dick is 8.3 cm wide. For anything bigger, see XXL dildos.
Material and feel
About 40 percent of our realistic dildos are PVC, a third TPE and a fifth silicone. Doc Johnson uses its own names: FIRMSKYN is a firmer PVC, ULTRASKYN a soft, skin-like dual density TPE. PVC and TPE are soft, realistic and affordable but porous: wash them thoroughly, keep them for yourself or use a condom when sharing. Silicone is non-porous, warms to body temperature and lasts for years; the RealRock Dual Density Silicone Sliding Skin (15.5 to 20.5 cm, €40.95 to €44.95) has a soft outer skin that moves over a firmer core, and the Crushious Inviktus is liquid silicone (19 to 23 cm, from €33.95).
Casts and character
Some dildos are cast from real men: the Boneyard range (Adam Killian, Aron Ridge and Jocks models, €76.95), Doc Johnson's Owen Gray in silicone (€147.95) and Hollywood Cash in ULTRASKYN (€97.95), and XR Brands Pekka's Cock and Tom of Finland Break Time (€74.95).
Base, suction cup and harness
A suction cup lets you fix the dildo to tiles, a door or the floor and ride it hands free; many RealRock models have one. A flared base is essential for anal use. Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock dildos click onto a Vac-U-Lock harness or handle. A flat suction cup base usually fits an O-ring harness.
Lubricant and care
Use plenty of lubricant: a water-based or thicker anal lubricant with silicone, TPE and PVC, because silicone lubricant can damage silicone and soft toys. Wash before and after use with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, dry fully and store each dildo separately, away from sunlight, so soft materials do not react with each other.

Frequently asked questions
What size realistic dildo is best for anal beginners?
About 15 cm insertable and 3.5 to 4 cm wide, with a suction cup or flared base. Width matters more than length, so move up in small steps and compare the diameter with toys you already know. Use plenty of anal lube and take your time; a dildo that is too big simply stays in the drawer.
Is a silicone dildo better than PVC or TPE?
For hygiene and lifespan, yes: silicone is non-porous, keeps its shape and is easy to clean thoroughly. PVC and TPE are softer and cheaper, but porous, so they need more careful cleaning and replacing sooner. If you share a PVC or TPE dildo, always put a condom over it and change it between partners.
What do dual density and materials like ULTRASKYN mean?
Dual density means a firm core with a softer outer layer, so the dildo feels like real skin but stays stable. ULTRASKYN and FIRMSKYN are Doc Johnson's own materials: ULTRASKYN is a very soft, skin-like dual density material, FIRMSKYN a firmer one that holds its shape. Both are best used with a water-based lube.
Can I ride a realistic dildo hands-free?
Yes, with a suction cup model on a smooth, clean surface such as tiles, glass or a door. Wet the cup slightly for a better hold and press it firmly in place before you start. Models with a flat base or suction cup also fit most strap-on harnesses, so a partner can take over.
Which lube should I use with a realistic dildo?
A water-based or hybrid anal lube works with every material. Avoid silicone lube on silicone, PVC and TPE dildos, because it can damage the surface. Be generous and reapply often for anal play. Afterwards, wash the dildo with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner and let it dry completely.
